Black Berlin

A matte black finish with sanded edges and subtle colour variations. Understated and stylish, but certainly not just plain black.

The base of Black Berlin is a matte black. But we deliberately do not want the surface to be completely uniform. Here and there, a small lime mark may be visible or a slightly glossier area may appear. These subtle differences give the black finish more depth and keep the surface lively.

The edges are sanded back, allowing the underlying surface to show through in places. This gives the wood an additional weathered character.

So, simply black does not really describe it. It is precisely these small differences that make Black Berlin interesting. The black remains calm and stylish, while the subtle nuances add depth.

The finish works well in simple and understated interiors, but also suits industrial or more sophisticated settings. The matte black provides a calm canvas for materials such as glass, gold and silver.

Because the colour is not completely uniform, Black Berlin can also adapt easily to different surroundings.
