A brown paint/stain that is then sanded back. This leaves the underlying surface visible and gives the wood a warm, weathered appearance.

The product is given a colour bath using a water-based paint/stain that we have formulated ourselves, without unnecessary chemical additives. Beforehand, the sharp edges are sanded down and slight irregularities are deliberately added in places.

The brown colour is not exactly the same everywhere. In some areas, the finish becomes slightly darker than in others. This is intentional and gives the product an older, more natural character.

Because the wood structure and grain remain visible through the colour, the wood retains its natural appearance. This makes Brussels Brown a calm finish with plenty of character.

The warm brown colour combines beautifully with natural wood, but also works well in a calm, understated interior. For those who want a little more colour, there is also Brussels Brown with Green. This version does not have a separate finishing name besides Brussels Brown; Green simply indicates the additional colour.

The combination of warm brown and green works particularly well in natural green interiors and can also complement an Art Nouveau-inspired interior.
