Wooden shutter 118 cm, tall and elegant

With a height of 118 cm, this is the largest and perhaps most distinctive shutter in the Dutch Mood collection. The tall, slender design is reminiscent of traditional wooden shutters found in France and North Africa. Tall windows were often fitted with several narrow panels placed side by side, sometimes four or even six panels per window.

This shutter looks particularly beautiful in front of floor-to-ceiling windows or tall windows with a low windowsill. Think of a charming converted farmhouse or an elegant townhouse with high windows. In these settings, the slender vertical design further emphasises the height and elegance of the windows.

The shutter reduces direct views into the room while the open louvers still allow daylight to pass through. By opening or folding the three panels closer together, you can easily adjust how much of the window is screened.

Even away from a window, this tall shutter makes a distinctive decorative feature. Its French country character and slender shape create an elegant focal point in both understated and classic interiors.

Stable and flexible three panel design

The shutter consists of three hinged panels, allowing you to adjust its width to suit the available space. The slight zigzag arrangement provides stability without the need for a heavy base. It is easy to position and compact to store.

Dutch Mood offers an extensive collection of wooden window shutters in various heights, colours and finishes. All three panel models have the same panel widths. For two colour shutters, the individual parts are finished separately before assembly. Single colour shutters are painted as one piece and then given their final finish.

Old Dutch, natural and weathered

Old Dutch is the original finish of Dutch Mood. The wood has a natural, aged appearance with soft grey tones and a very light grey interior. The matte finish highlights the character of the wood.

This version works particularly well with bohemian interiors, a relaxed beach house atmosphere and natural materials. It also fits beautifully into country style interiors.
