Wooden Planter Cairo Grey – for Pot Size 10

A simple wooden planter can make a surprisingly big difference to the atmosphere of a space. With this planter, the difference is not in a complicated shape or elaborate details, but mainly in the finish and colour.

The Cairo Grey finish is extremely matte and has a beautiful, weathered appearance. Combined with the fresh green of flowers and plants, it creates a strong contrast. Plants with grey or grey-green foliage also look particularly good in it. A subtle ton-sur-ton effect, where the colour of the planter further enhances the character of the plant.

The planter has deliberately been kept simple in shape. This allows the special finish to take centre stage while keeping the overall look calm and natural.

For inner pot size 10

This wooden planter is designed for plants with an inner pot size of 10. The inside is lined with heavy-duty plastic, protecting the wooden exterior from moisture.

Pot size 10 is one of the most common sizes for indoor plants, making it suitable for many popular houseplants.

A variant for pot size 12 is also available.

Simple wood, distinctive finish

The strength of this planter lies mainly in the combination of its simple shape and the Cairo Grey finish. The wood therefore has a calm, weathered appearance without the planter itself taking attention away from the plant.

A great choice for interior stores, concept stores, florists and interiors where natural materials, understated colours and greenery come together.

Colour: Cairo Grey – weathered and full of character

Cairo Grey is a weathered, aged-grey colour that sits beautifully between grey and brown. The natural wood structure and grain remain visible, preserving the authentic character of the wood.

The grey base is finished with subtle traces of white lime and lightly applied artificial wear marks. The special paint also contains subtle brown tones, creating a warm grey shade that moves towards taupe.

This combination of colour, lime and subtle distressed details gives the wood a convincing, weathered look. The result is a warm, understated colour that retains the natural character of the wood.

The exact colour can sometimes be difficult to reproduce accurately in photographs. The colour tone corresponds to RAL D2 (Design Series) 095 70 10 – Sand Grey.
