Product description

Wooden Doorstop – Heavy, Robust and Stylish

A Doorstop Worth Showing Off

This wooden doorstop is made to withstand plenty of use. It is made from thick wood, fitted with sturdy nails and weighted with natural stones inside. No sand or concrete – so there is no filling that can leak out.

Wood is also ideal for a doorstop. It is robust, yet does not damage or scratch the door. Rubber feet on the bottom help protect the floor as well.

And of course, the appearance matters too. Most doorstops are either practical or attractive. This one is simply both. The strong rope also makes it easy to move. We deliberately chose a heavy, robust rope that feels comfortable in the hand and fits perfectly with the character of the doorstop.

One nice detail: the four sides alternately say DOOR – STOP – DOOR – STOP. So, from whichever angle you look at it, you always read DOORSTOP or STOPDOOR. A small detail that is simply guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Colour: Cairo Grey – Characterful and Authentic

Cairo Grey is a characteristic aged grey tone that sits beautifully between grey and brown. The natural structure and grain of the wood remain visible, allowing the genuine character of the wood to show through.

Subtle traces of white lime and light, artificially created signs of wear are applied over the grey base colour. The special paint also contains subtle brown tones, creating a warm grey tone with a slight tendency towards taupe.

The combination of colour, lime and light signs of wear gives the wood a convincing, characterful old-look finish. The result is a calm, understated appearance while retaining the natural character of the wood.

The colour can be difficult to reproduce exactly in photographs and may look quite different depending on the lighting, surroundings and camera. The colour tone corresponds to RAL D2 (Design Series) 095 70 10 – Sand Grey.
