The Gruttersbak Grocery 5 is inspired by traditional Dutch grocery bins, but has a cleaner and more contemporary design. No curved lines, just simple, straight shapes. The combination of the simple design and the weathered look gives this gruttersbak a calm and atmospheric character. This makes it a perfect fit within the overall Dutch Mood collection.

Cairo Grey – a warm, weathered grey

Cairo Grey is a beautiful, weathered old-grey colour, as if a soft grey haze has settled over the wood. The natural texture and grain of the wood remain visible. The special paint we use for this finish is not pure grey, but also contains subtle brown tones. This creates a warm grey shade with a hint of taupe.

The colour can sometimes be difficult to capture accurately in photographs. The shade corresponds to RAL D2 (Design Series) 095 70 10 – Sand Grey.

Versatile in use

This gruttersbak can be used for many different purposes, for example:

• herbs and spices
• fruit and vegetables
• decoration
• as a retail display for loose products, such as amber blocks
• as storage furniture in the bathroom

The top can hold jars or containers with a depth of up to 7.5 cm.

The Gruttersbak Grocery is available in 3-compartment and 5-compartment versions. All compartments are the same size, so the different versions can also be combined nicely side by side.
